Steam distilled in Indonesia, this oil contains plant compounds that are miraculously moisturizing for hair and skin. Patchouli is primarily used to scent closets and clothing, in skincare, in perfumery, and as love liniment. Many find its musky, earthy fragrance to be reassuring and sensual. A dab on the hair will give long-lasting perfuming effects, especially when combined with Jasmine or Sandalwood.
In order to harness the power of Patchouli, the leaves must be dried for at least a day before the oil can be extracted.
